Paleo Magazine is the first and only print magazine dedicated to the Paleo lifestyle and ancestral health, committed to giving people the info they need to go Paleo.
Some may say my opinion's slightly bias. After all, I've been doing the cooking, food styling & food photography for the magazine since February 2013. Since then, my photos have appeared on 16 (!!!) of the covers.
It's a funny beginning to my first client after graduating university, because I had originally reached out to them about submitting fitness (well, more specifically, CrossFit) images to the magazine regularly. To which they were not interested, but the editor responded with the question, "but do you do food photography?"
And a beautiful relationship was born.
Before the magazine, Paleo played a significant role in my life since 2009. In many ways, '09 was the first year of the rest of my life. First year of college, first year moving out of the house, first year of CrossFit... And as a result of CrossFit, my introduction to Paleo.
Paleo taught me the importance of eating real food, and it continues to power my mental, physical and emotional health to this day. More than a diet, Paleo is a lifestyle, and I truly believe it is the answer to so many questions.
